Lobster Feast
Saturday, November 16th, 3-6pm
The Estates Barn, Los Olivos
Seafarer Club Member $75.00
General Public $125
These are not your average lobsters, and are considered a delicacy around the world. These are cold-water, Santa Barbara Spiny Lobsters, and can only be caught from October through March. No claws, but twice as delicious (sorry, Maine!) You’ll hardly ever find these on a menu, but we have the advantage of…Crabby Steve Escobar! Crabby will morph into Lobstah Steve and catch us some of these seasonal delicacies. Each guest will enjoy their own lobster, made in the Baja way on the grill. Start with seasonal appetizers, put on your bib and dig in to the lobster and sides, all of course complemented with plenty of Seagrape and Le Pecheur wines.
If you’ve been to our Crab Feasts, you know these are as much fun as delicious!

2023 Sauvignon Blanc, La Presa Vineyard, Los Olivos District
Bottle $30
This second release of Seagrape Sauvignon from La Presa Vineyard was crafted to simply and purely showcase the essence of the grape. Sassy! The first impression is the gorgeous aromatics that leap from the glass with reminders of lime blossom, grapefruit and herbal and grassy notes. The lilting acidity is balanced with refreshing flavors of passionfruit, granny smith apples, lemongrass and gravelly minerality. Refreshing, zesty and zippy.
2022 Chardonnay, Hibbits Ranch Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills
Bottle $30.00 $27 until 10/31
High-pitched, mineral-laced aromas of fresh citrus fruits and white flowers are released with a swirl. Dry, racy and sharply focused, offering lively Meyer lemon and bitter pear skin flavors and a hint of anise on the palate. The wine closes spicy and tight, with very good clarity and length and a hint of honeysuckle. 92 points, Wine Enthusiast
2019 Gewurtztraminer, Los Alamos Vineyard, Santa Barbara County
Bottle $30.00
So beautifully floral, with unctuous aromas of lychee, jasmine and orange blossom leaping from the glass. Bone dry, with tangy lime, peach and pear with a hint of hazelnut on the palate. A nice balance of creaminess and vibrancy with a lingering, zesty finish.
2023 Rosé of Pinot Gris
Bottle $30
2022 Pinot Noir, Hibbits Ranch, Sta. Rita Hills
Bottle $38.00
A first sip is a tell-tale of the vintage, with spicy white-pepper notes enveloped by cherry (sour cherry and some just ripe Bing cherry) along with the rocky minerality that is a hallmark of the appellation. Pomegranate-like flavor and acidity and a silky texture interlaced with soft tea-like tannins round out this youthful yet balanced, approachable and pretty wine. 95 Points – Wine Enthusiast
2015 “Mermaid’s Pearl” Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills
Bottle $70.00
A veritable treasure chest of aromas, flavors and textures abound in 2015 Mermaid’s Pearl. A dark and vibrant maroon color entices the senses. Spicy aromas of allspice and a hint of nutmeg mingle with black cherry compote and lead to a sip. A silky texture delivers more berry flavors – blueberry and black raspberry, accented with polished tannins and traces of sandalwood. Just 22 cases produced.
